NEW JERSEY GOLF PLANNING
Plan a public golf round in New Jersey.
Choose a course you can book, a layout that fits your group, and enough daylight to finish. Confirm the final details with the course before paying.

Start with access and location
Use a county guide to find listed public, municipal and semi-private courses. A public listing does not guarantee an available tee time. Check whether the course requires an account, a resident card or another eligibility check, and whether your group qualifies for the displayed rate.
Private clubs are listed separately for reference and do not appear in the public-course finder. Our directory is growing; an empty county guide means we have no reviewed listing there yet, not that the county has no golf.
Browse New Jersey county guidesCompare the actual layout, not just the facility name
One facility can offer several layouts. Open its course page and select the layout your booking will use. Compare holes, par and tee distances. Do not add layout hole counts together to estimate a property's unique holes: configurations can overlap.
For example, Neshanic Valley includes an Academy layout as well as longer configurations. Confirm the selected layout on the booking page before completing a reservation.
Choose tees using the scorecard
Compare yardage, course rating and slope for the same rating category. Tee colors are labels, not a universal difficulty scale. An unverified or missing value should not be treated as zero. Check the course's current scorecard when a value is marked under review.
Check the total price and booking terms
The Check Tee Times button opens the booking destination or course website. That is where you confirm available times and prices. Before reserving, check the date, course and layout, player count, resident eligibility, cart charges, cancellation deadline and weather policy. GolfCoursesNJ does not sell tee times or confirm reservations.
Leave time for the whole round
Our weekend finder evaluates weather across an estimated 4½-hour round and leaves a 20-minute buffer before sunset. That is a planning assumption, not a pace-of-play guarantee. Scores appear only when a complete, fresh forecast is available; they disappear when it is missing or out of date.
A favorable score does not describe turf conditions, drainage, cart restrictions or closures. Confirm those details with the course. Drive estimates are approximate and should be checked in navigation before leaving.
